Go Pack Go!

I used all of my creativity this past weekend on creating designs on mini-cupcakes for the Super Bowl. My boyfriend is a big Packers fan (having grown up in Wisconsin) so I thought he'd get a kick out of these. Check out my mini Packers cupcakes! It must have given the team luck because they WON THE SUPER BOWL!

Non-clashing Konadicure

For this Konadicure I wanted to create something that I could wear through out the week that wouldn't clash with all of my outfits. I came up with this simple black/grey/white manicure using Konad plates M59 and M79. I'm not really happy with how it came out.. I try to stay away from using Black stamping polish (because I think it's the least forgiving), but each time I work with it I get a little better. Now I need to start thinking up ideas for the OC Nail Art's Valentine's Day contest! After all, it IS my Birthday and it would be a wonderful gift to win the $100 gift certificate. I better get started!

What inspires me: Japan!

FINALLY it's here! A new Konadicure I've created inspired by my love for the color pink combined with the Japanese S09 plate. I would love to tell you what color I used for the base of my manicure however it isn't a name brand and lacks a label of any kind (I bought it at Ross Dress For Less in a pack of 8). For now I'll just called it flower pink.

Base: 2 coats Flower Pink
Plates: M57, S09
Polish: Pink Pearl, White Konad Stamping Plolish

Details: Stamp M57 lace design with Pink Pearl stamping polish, remove the middle of the design using a Qtip coated in nail polish, next stamp S09 flower design with white stamping polish.

Hopefully this Konadicure will spark my inspiration to try other designs this week!

Trying to find inspiration

Hi ladies! I've been trying to find inspiration via blogs and other Konadicure photos but haven't been able to come up with anything yet. I've decided to dedicate the later part of my afternoon to creating a Konadicure to post on my blog (since I haven't posted in a while). I still have no idea what colors or images I want to use... So that leaves me with this question.

HOW DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION FOR YOUR KONADICURES? Let me know! I want to hear from all of you.

C'mon Green Bay!

Here they are.. my Green Bay Packers nails for the Playoff game this weekend!

I didn't have dark green Konad stamping polish so I had to use the lighter one while stamping the green/yellow design on. It's not perfect, but I like it!

Packers vs. Atlanta Falcons - Playoff game

I'll be attending the Green Bay Packers vs. Atlanta Falcons Playoff game in Atlanta on Saturday and I'm really excited! My boyfriend is from Wisconsin (and a big Packers fan) so I decided to get him tickets as an early Birthday present. It's about four hours away, so it'll be a fun weekend road trip! In honor of the game I will be posting my Green Bay Konadicure tomorrow.. maybe it'll even bring the team some luck!

Stay tunes for some new designs! I'm excited to get my creative juices flowing again!

OMG! Tour Nails

I went to see Usher a couple of weeks ago and wanted to have some crazy nails for the concert. I never use the color purple so I decided to use a shade of light purple from Color Club for the base. I stamped over that using the M57 Konad plate and Violet Pearl for the chetah print, and Black special stamping polish for the flower print. This is what I got!

I'm always behind!

Like the title of the blog says I'm always behind on my posts! I noticed that I didn't post my Christmas mani's because I was so busy with the holidays. Well... HERE THEY ARE!

More Holiday manicures after the cut!

Not so plain jane Konadicure

I decided to lay off the crazy colors and patterns for this Konadicure. I just did a basic french manicure using an old light pink/white translucent polish and the M59 Konad disk. I added a silver jewel to the middle of the bow for an extra girlie touch. It's not too creative but sometimes plain works!
